Ruling re Sights (04/2006):
The TC has ruled that the use of single pin vernier sights or similar, as well
as the removal of the surplus pins for the purpose of shooting in an indoor
event in the Bowhunter Limited or Bowhunter Unlimited style is against the
intent of the style and therefore not acceptable. Persons shooting these type
sights, irrespective if a single pin is used, shall be classified in either of
the Freestyle Classes.
Ruling re Sights (05/2006):
The use of a vertical pin sight allows for additional sight positions and
therefore is against the intent of the Bowhunter Limited or Unlimited class.
Archers using these types of pin sights shall be classified in either of the
Freestyle Classes.
Ruling regarding Axis Arrows (#
06/2006):
The Axis Full Metal Jacket arrow is legal for all Recurve and
Compound styles as recognised by the IFAA.
Rule regarding Spigarelli rest:
The SPIGARELLI
REVOLUTION REST will not be accepted on official IFAA tournament in “Bowhunter
Recurve” and “Barebow Recurve” due to its shape and design. For the sake of
standardisation we would highly recommend to take over this decision for your
national / regional considerations. Please inform Archers concerned with this
problem, that ARCOSPORT, the manufacturer of this raiser, is offering adequate
replacement.
